About Us
The Silver Creek Performing Arts Association exists to enrich the cultural life of Snowflake and the surrounding communities by bringing high-quality music, theater, and artistic experiences to our rural corner of Arizona. Founded by local volunteers who believe the arts should be accessible to everyone, we work to create performances and programs that inspire, uplift, and unite audiences of all ages.
Our association partners with talented local performers, visiting artists, schools, and community groups to offer a diverse season of concerts, theater productions, and special events. Through these collaborations, we provide opportunities for artistic growth, education, and participation—whether someone is stepping on stage for the first time or returning as a seasoned performer.
As a nonprofit organization, we are dedicated to building a sustainable foundation for the arts in Silver Creek. Community support, membership, and volunteer involvement allow us to continue expanding our offerings and strengthening our impact. Together, we’re creating a vibrant arts tradition that will enrich Snowflake for generations to come.

Steve has been involved in theater and music one way or another for most of his life. He has lost count of how many plays he has directed—from musicals and comedies to Shakespeare and outdoor pageants. Steve says he loves what the arts can do to lift people and make them better. “It’s my way to serve the community”.

For many years, Ashley taught dance and inspired countless students with her creativity, discipline, and genuine love for the performing arts. Today, she continues to share her talents in the community, offering choreography and support wherever it’s needed. Whether she’s helping prepare a local production or lending a hand behind the scenes, Ashley is devoted to enriching the arts here.
