Thomas Pandolfi
Thomas Pandolfi is an internationally acclaimed American concert pianist and Steinway Artist celebrated for combining electrifying virtuosity, poetic sensitivity, and a charismatic stage presence. Hailed as a "master of both the grand gesture and the sensual line" by The Washington Post, Pandolfi has established himself as one of the most brilliant and versatile pianists of his generation.
A Washington, D.C. native, Pandolfi earned both his Bachelor and Master of Music degrees as a scholarship student at The Juilliard School. Early in his career, his exceptional technique caught the attention of legendary piano icon Vladimir Horowitz, who became a key mentor. Since then, Pandolfi has performed to sold-out audiences at prestigious venues worldwide, including Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, The Kennedy Center, London's Cadogan Hall, and the Bucharest Romanian Athenaeum.
Equally acclaimed in classic masterworks and crossover pops, Pandolfi is widely recognized for his passionate interpretations of Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninoff, and Beethoven, as well as his authoritative renditions of George Gershwin. Legendary composer Morton Gould called Pandolfi’s rendition of Gershwin “the finest performance I have heard since the composer himself”. Beyond standard concert literature, Pandolfi is known for his custom virtuosic arrangements of American standard theater hits from Leonard Bernstein, Marvin Hamlisch, and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
